The market on Cuale Island sells a variety of different products including food, clothing, gifts and souvenirs. The atmosphere of the place adds to the charm, you find yourself surrounded by old trees and the serene drifting of the water through the river. Bargaining is a must, always offer half of prices quoted by the merchants and work it from there. Some stands do accept credit cards but may charge a commission for the convenience, so be sure to ask.
