Love It!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/10
Every time my wife and I go to PV we always go here... atleast a couple times a visit. She loves the Filet Mignon Fajita's off the old menu but they usually make it special for her. I usually get something new as far as seafood goes, but the Portuguese Shrimp is always a good standby. It is rich and delicious. Le Bistro is one of the best designed restaurants I have ever been to and truly utilizes its Indoor/Outdoor style in a beautiful way. Love IT!!! Sometimes the knats can be a little pesky outside along the river, but it is still worth it to enjoy the outside dining. It is one of our favorites in the world and we always go back every visit. Best in PV that we have seen.

Top Ten Restaurants I've Been To
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/10
Le Bistro, for both food and ambiance ranks as perhaps my second favorite restaurant that I have ever been to. A definite must go to if you are in PV.

Our favorite place in the WORLD!
By GlacierBo, 01/11/09
That's right...the entire WORLD. This is the best kept secret in Vallarta. Service, food, atmosphere, setting, period. I would go there for breakfast every day if I lived in that city. The dinner menu is superb, and the staff bends over backwards.

Home away from home
By Serano, 04/16/08
I've been to traveling to PV since the early 80'. Le Bistro is truly where I send a lot of time. The salads are great. Stuffed cornish hens, the fish.... If I dine elsewhere, I usually end up there for a after dinner drink. Roberto is an amazing host! Serano in San Francisco ; )

Great Experience
By Thomas, 01/23/08
We have visited PTO several times over the past 15 years and have ate at Le Bistro each time we visit. You couldn't ask for a better setting for a restaurant. The wait staff is excellent and very attentive and the value of the food is great. Who would ever expect a jazz themed restaurant in Mexico?? The shrimp was fantastic.

Still the same
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/07
Over twenty-five years ago, my husband and I were walking along the river in Puerto Vallarta and an immense rain storm hit. We ducked into Le Bistro and had an amazing dinner. The owner was there and he was kind and accomodating and we had a lengthy conversation. A few days ago, we visited Puerto Vallarta once again and couldn't wait to see if Le Bistro still stood. To our delight, it is still living large and the food and service are as good as we remember. We have talked about this restaurant over the years and have always considered it to be one of our favorites. After our recent visit, our positive review continues.

Unbelievable food and atmosphere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/07
First of all, the restaurant is beautiful. We sat next to the river. The service was the best and the food was not what you used to expect in mexico. Fine dining at its best.

Service, food, ambiance to rival any restaurant anywhere...and, the prices are reasonable. Good wines. Waiters very attentive, but not obtrusive. Went there several times on visit to PV...Breakfast is great also.
