Kliff Restaurant & Bar (Le), Puerto Vallarta Centro

This is the most beautiful place in PV. Have visited others but this is simply the best. Excellent service, great food (overpriced, though), and the best views in PV you can find. After the meal you can enjoy a cigar at the bottom palapas by the rocks/ocean. However, watch your step moving around it is a long way down. Will definately visit every time we go to PV.

The restaurant's location on a high cliff looking over the Bahia de Banderas is spectacular. The initial service to get our drink and appetizer order was frustratingly slow. We opted for a Lobster for two. The food was average and the lobster was somewhat dry. What really set me off was that I had left slightly less than a 15 percent tip because of the slow service. As we were walking out, the waiter called to me and asked me if everything was okay. I told him everything was fine. He then asked me why I did not leave him the customary 15 percent tip if everything was fine. I told him it was okay, but service was slow. That episode pretty much ruined the evening for us. I will not be going back.

Largest palapa in the world. Can have a wedding there, unique setup for them. Overpriced food, but the building is amazing. At night, nothing to see, so visit during day only.

No words can describe the beuty that sorrounds this place. At times, it is hard to believe that you are actually on planet earth. You find your self wondering whether you have landed in paridise. This experience will forever be remembered by my family. Not only that, I have promised my kids that we are going back!! If you ever go to PV, please! do not miss the opportunity to visit this amazing,isolated, yet elegant and romantic place. The food was great and so was the service. The food is pricy, so this is not the place to go if you are looking for a culinary bargain; but the view and the setting makes it all worth it.

First off, the location of this restaurant is amazing. Right on the cliffs over looking the ocean, you would be hard pressed to find a better setting. The food was mediocre, however I did have an Asparagus soup that was amazing. Had the lobster and it was nothing special, a little overcooked and I have had much better at lesser priced restaurants. The service was very good, but this is not a place to dine and dash, be prepared to be there a little while. Going back to PV in June 08, but will not be visiting Le Kliff.

i will always remember the amazing dinner i had here for the rest of my life. it was so beautiful! the ocean always looks endless and the sunset always is amazing but while having dinner here the ocean was especialy endless and words canot descirbe the sunset. the place is a bit pricey but the quality is well worth it! the lobster i had was the best ive ever had. if you go to puerto vallarta you better go here or your missing out big time!

I will admit that I'm a eat and go person, but our meal took 3 hours, the food was okay, but I will not go back.

We have visited LK many times and the drinks get smaller, food less Mexican and prices up with portions smaller (waiter even appologized in advance for the smaller portions). Views remain best in MX but my wife's chicken dish was over cooked and dry. My tuna dish was done to perfection. Go have a drink but there's much better value for what you pay. Visited 2/21/08

If you're in PV - take your significant other here! We sat in the "Terrace of Love" which, while a little pricey, is definitely the best restaurant experience I've ever had. Go at 5:00 when the sun's still up and enjoy the views/sunset. The waitstaff was very nice and took plenty of pictures of me and my girl. The food was alright but I've had better. The view and the overall experience more than make up for it. If you're looking to experience Mexico on the smallest expense, go somewhere else. But if you want to experience the most romantic and awe-inspiring place around PV (and likely anywhere else you've been), spend a little and check this out. It will NOT disappoint!

There is not one thing about the entire experience that could be negative. Paulo was incredible, food was great, location was "Oh My God!!) If you go to P.V. you will miss out by NOT going to this wonderful piece of paradise.
