Indulge yourself at this beachside restaurant that offers tremendous views and a front-row seat for the sunset. The flavors are international, prepared with a healthy Mediterranean flair. Where else can you find Strudel Florentina next to Ossobuco? The Bisque of Pacific lobster is delicious. The indecisive will enjoy the Tutti-Fruti di Mare, which presents some of the best of the fruits of the sea. Escaping the heat? Dine indoors where the air conditioner keeps things cool. Though it's on the beach and the dress code is casual, beachwear is not permitted.

Such a wonderful place, we got married there

My now husband and I are leaving this Saturday for our 7th annual February trip to PV. Each year there's a group from our area that makes the trip. Everyone meets at Coco Tropical for cocktail hour and at least one dinner during vacation. Two years ago when we decided to tie the knot in PV, we invited 25 of our friends to join us. Heinz and his staff certainly simplified the task of planning a Mexican wedding from Indiana. They took care of everything, including presenting us with a lovely beach setting for the ceremony. The food is always superb and the service outstanding. We'll be there again for our anniversary on 2/12.

Owner/chef Heinz E. Reize's elegant beachfront Bistro since 1997 offers the highlights of traditional European cuisine with Mediterranean influence. A marvelous sunset setting offers a memorable dining experience. Known for osso buco and risotto, also offers escargot, French onion or tortilla soup, Florentine spinach salad, coconut banana mango shrimp, chicken orange, mahi-mahi aioli, char-grilled tuna steak and pepper steak, the best quality for very reasonable prices. Good salsa, fish and chips at lunch.
