Dolce Vita (La), Emiliano Zapata

The decor was nice and the view amazing. However, the food was nowhere near authentic Italian and very, very bland. the reviews were good so I was very surprised to have tasteless food. I don't recommend it.

Somehow I got roped into an all inclusive package for my first trip to Puerto. The food at the hotel was terrible from day one, so we decided to explore the downtown area. Found La Dolce Vita by accident and decided to get on the list for dinner. The place was going off! Totally worth the wait. I know what you are thinking, how can italian food in Puerto Vallarta be legit?? Well, it was. I had almost everything on the menu by the end of my trip. Long story short, we ate there every single day. Don't waste your time eating at the hotel!

Just returned from Pv for another great time La Dolce Vita is consistently good. We eat here every trip and have never had a bad meal

This was just a fun restaurant. The waiters are "adorable", and so happy to be serving you. The food was great. The price even better.. There were 4 of us and the bill was $150.00 which included appetizers, main meal, dessert and beers. If you plan to go to downtown Puerto Vallarta, dont pass up this restaurant. We loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love La Dolce Vita!! My husband and I both had pasta dishes and the portions were great and so is the price. We were first seated downstairs but it was really hot since the pizza brick oven was about 7 feet away and we were moved upstairs. Upstairs is the place to be seated, even if you don't get the best balcony seats you can still see the people and the ocean. It's much breezier upstairs and totally worth the wait if you have to. I would definitely go back to visit and I would say the wait staff here is the most attentive of all the PV restaurants. Great price for great food!

I loved this place. I'm going to Puerto Vallarta in Feb. and I'm so excited to go eat at Dolce Vita! YUMMMM! They have great pizza, pasta, and my favorite were these little beef medallions covered with ham and cheese! I suggest you go a couple times when u are here. A friend and I went to PV for a week, and loved this restaurant so much, we ate there 4 of the 7 days! If you are lucky enough to get a seat near the main strip, you are in for a treat. You can see the ocean, the beach, the people walking by. It cannot be beat!

It may seem sacreligious to go an Italian restaurant in Mexico, but it's been my family's experience that Mexico more than does justice to Italian food. La Dolce Vita is no exception. Sit upstairs at dusk for an outstanding view of the sunset and great people watching. Order the pizza-any kind-if you love a great wood-fired, thin-crust pizza with a huge variety of options. We went twice the week we were there. They went out of their way to celebrate my mom's birthday without being asked to, and served an outstanding tiramisu with a lot of fanfare. The only words of warning are to show any discount cards you may have at the START of the meal. Unlike other restaurants in PV, this wait staff doesn't want it at the end and can get a touch cranky about it.

This place has great food! It's Italian Dining With A Mexican Flare! I've been to Vallarta many (5) times and love to go at least 2 or 3 times every trip. Their brick oven pizza's are really great along with their calamari. The staff is really friendly and if you sit upstairs you get a really great view of the Malecon. You can go as a family or for just a romantic dinner. The prices are really reasonable and you get a fairly good size entre. Their deserts are great too. And, most important, my family, friends and I have never gotten sick once from eating there! I recommend La Dolce Vita to everyone and they all come back with good reviews. Dress is casual to dressy casual.

One of the best pizzas that I have ever had. The only reason that I would go back to PV. I felt bad for the cooks standing next to the forno on such a hot day but the produced excellent pizza. The crust was crisp, the cheese was an excellent mix, and the toppings were excellent. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone that likes pizza.
