the restaurant itself doesn't look like much, but it does have a great view of the ocean. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was inexpensive and delicious.

the Ambiance is great, the live music is excellent, the "dance floor" is SO SMALL. the mojitos are not fresh AT ALL. the place is too comercial that the mojitos are already pre-made. too bad because the mint leaf is so dry. IT's a nice little atmosphere, but the mojitos are not as great as everybody say they are...

What a neat place. We had a great lunch one day and went back one evening to listen to the music. They had a great Cuban band.

We went to PV for our honeymoon for a week and stopped in to rest our feet and get a drink. We loved everything so much, we had to go back again and actually wanted to go back a third time! Nothing pretentious here. The food is good, the setting is perfect and the people were great. The perfect afternoon. Both times we went (weekdays, november) the place was almost empty, we had most of the top floor to ourselves - we could not have been happier.

Mojitos and the club is very friendly. Everybody was there to have a good time. The cuban band has a great sound and service is excellent.I was there 4 times in one week and did not want to leave.......

I loved the music and the atmoshpere, a definite must see that can easily turn into a huge party, make sure you get plenty of Majitos

very similar to the namesake in havana. mojitos were unreal. music and dancing had all the latin flavor and even my wife recieved dancing lessons from one of the locals. being a cuban american it was a real kick to kick up the heels and through down a few in such a fabled bar.

My husband and I went to PV for our 6th Anniversary and the first night we arrived we dined at La Bodeguita del Medio. We had the appetizer mixed plate and also the Pollo Grille. Both were amazing and we just sat on the upper level and watched the sunset. The food is very delicious and not to mention their white rice alone has so much flavor that I could just eat it plain. I had 2 mojitos and they are just delicious, the best mojito I have ever had. The service was great and they give good recommendations. I purchased a glass set for the mojito and I probably wouldn't buy anything else at the gift shop since you can get t-shirts and tanks with Che on them for less at a local flea market stands. If we go back to PV this will be a place to stop back in. I do have to say the seat is a bit hard to sit on if you are there for awhile.

This joint is simply fabulous! The atmosphere is unbeatable with views of the main beach and a live cuban band providing a matching soundtrack to your delicious meal. I've never thought of myself as a cuban food eater, but if you're going to be in Puerto Vallarta you have to check this place out! The food is simple yet so yummy. And don't forget to indulge in one of their famous mojitos.... I swear they are the best you'll ever have.
