Palomas Doradas (Las), 5 de Diciembre

We really liked this place. We went there for breakfast as someone on this page recomended it. Our son had waffles and we digged in to more local dishes. My wife and I came back by ourselves the next evening and had a more romantic evening. The prices are a bit more expensive for dinner, but that is to be expected. Overall great for a family breakfast or a romantic dinner. PS: the salsa wasn't THAT spicy (This is Mexico!)

So we almost concidered not going to this place given all the bad reviews. Honestly it was great. We went there for rbeakfast, so i don't know about the wine list or things like that. But the breakfast was great, specially their traditional mexican dishes. The view was really nice and the waiters were super friendly. Definetly a must as far as breakfasts go. The only thing is that there "salsa mexicana" which is given as an apetizer is A LOT spicier than you would think, so beware.

The place was very easy to find and the view was one of the best in the marina. My wife and I were impressed by their wine list and their lobster. The waiters were kind and the price was more than adequate. This isn't a Cafe des Artistes or anything like that, but its definetly a good place to have a romantic dinner. We definetly recomend it. PS: Apperantly this was the first restaurant to open in the marina.

We visited in May of 2007 and had dinner since we read such good reviews. The food lacked flavor and service was less than adequate. Yes the view is nice at the Marinia but with so many great restaurants in the area, I would recommend you not waste your time or money on this one.

Cons: I literally just left this restaurant with my girlfriend and we were both extremely disappointed. This was pretty high on the list here, so I figured it was a sure thing. This is one of those places where you're left wondering if the food is fresh... Utensils/table were questionably clean... We ate outside, and there was bird poop everywhere... There was a hair in my potatoes, I would have complained, but the server was never present. Another negative was that there is automatic gratuity, which was a surprise to us since we didn't see it posted anywhere... probably explains the poor service. Pro: the view was nice... Overall, save your money, and spend it on a restaurant that actually makes you feel welcome and appreciates your presence. Strongly would not recommend, or go back. There are so many other choices in the area, that offer way better service. I think this is on the wrong list, as it should be on the "worst places to eat in PV".

This restaurant is simply stuning. It has one of the best views in the marina and has a unique decoration. The terace's roof is made entirely of leafes and has a fountain in the midle that gives it a nice touch. Both the service and food were excellent(so good my family and I had breakfest there every day)... So in the end this restaurant is really great. The price is decent and the food is great. From behalf of all my family, we recomend Las Palomas Doradas.
