De Santos, Emiliano Zapata

This is an over all experience for those that want to get off the Main water front area and chill w/ locals. One of the owners is from one of the greatest rock bands of all time I believe and it gets plenty of beer models from what I remember. Great food, staff and atmosphere. OG

With so many great (and really good) restaurants in PV, this is one that does not really deserve a second glance. The atmosphere is intriguing, the wait staff we found competent. But De Santos does not have a "no smoking" section and the taste of the meal was lost in the thick pall of cigarette smoke that continuously wafts throughout the dining room. Food was OK, but not outstanding.

Very artsie restaurant, all white.. if you plan on going later you will get the crowd coming in for the bar and nightclub. I like that they give you a new bread plate with olive paste with every part of your dinner. The lobster bisque soup was very good, I had the chicken croute, very good, big! My husband had the duck would pass on, the sauce was too thick to enjoy the duck. Dessert was good. Service was okay, the restaurant was a little crazy with an art showing and artist in the restauarant, so i think they were concentrating on him.

I went there because they reconmended as a good restaurant. In my experience the food is ok but not as good as others and the service is really slow. Also I found it really expensive for the value. If you are looking a good place I recomend the restaurant Ztai (just next door of de santos) that is the same concept but food is to die for, and service is great.
