The view was spectacular and the ambience was the greatest. It was interesting walking around looking at the staircase, shopping and waterfall in the foyer. I would definitely recommend everyone try it for a romantic evening out. All the guests were Okey with us taking pictures so that we would have memories to take home with us. If you can get a table on the terrace at the railing you struck gold. Make sure that you sit on the right hand side as you walk up to your table, this way you will experience a sunset never before seen.

First of all, talk about a spectacular view! The ambiance was fantastic. The service was unparralled. The food memorable. We were here a few years ago and can't wait to go back this year when in PV.

My rehearsal dinner was there. All my relatives and friends really enjoyed the menu. Received many compliments!

And a very beautiful view of Banderas Bay also await you at this well run establishment. A place to feel like your being treated to dinner as a guest in a local home. P.J.

We ate at El Palomar last March and the food was very good. The view is wonderfull. Ask the owner to demonstrate the sliding roof which covers the eating area when it rains. Rube Goldberg has nothing on this guy. While we were eating a reception for a local wedding was going on at the lowest level. They had over a dozen musicans at the music was fantastic. We are going back this January and will certainly eat there again.

Granted, this restaurant is not the cheapest in Puerto Vallarta, but the food was excellent in every way, the wine list amazing and the service impeccable. We had the "special of the day for 2" which included 2 lobsters, 2 crabs, broiled and fried shrimp, mussels and scallops prepared several different ways and fried calamari. Out total bill was $140 USD and this included a bottle of very good white wine. The view is amazing (ask for table #24) and around 9pm there was a fireworks show over the ocean. I can not recommend this place enough for someone who loves seafood!!

Excellent location, great view, very romantic. The food was good. A bit pricy but acceptable. The only thing that we did not like was that we overtipped the waiters, and they still thought that we were being cheap, and thinking we didn't understand spanish, made comments right in front of us.

Fabulous view, great food and service. Perfect for romantic evening. We celebrated our 20th anniversary. Best for small groups, 6 or less.

When making reservations go for a few minutes before sunset and the view will be even better watching the sun set. The service was perfect too. We enjoyed everything - from the soups, salad to the desserts. Definitely order from one of the shrimp dishes. There is one not sure of the name of the shrimp dish but the shrimp were the size of your hand, wrapped in bacon and the sauce was great!!!! very fresh shrimp!! would definitely go back! The service was excellent as well... Not a good thing but I like that in a lot of restaurants in Mexico you get new bread with every part of your meal. I love my bread :)

My husband and I were in PVR for our honeymoon and it was recommended by our travel agent that we make sure to eat here. The food was delicious, the views were breathtaking, and the setting was very romantic. We will defintely return for dinner when we visit PVR again this June. Can't wait!
