Went there for New Years Eve dinner to get away from the crowds and the everyday, wanted to be more of a local.......what a great choice, great food and atmosphere.....very clean and nice.......best rita we have had yet too!!

Great place to eat. Suggested by one of the locals and every time we go to PV make sure we go back. This was the first time I have ever had tortlla soup and I have yet to find anywhere that makes it as good. Also has a little gift shop that has better prices than the market.

The view was great over looking the Cuale River with mountains in the background.The place is for those seeking the flavor of authentic mexican food and seafood in a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was so kind.

I loved it all! The service was outstanding, the food was great and was served quickly! The restaurant was clean and well kept! It was a great afternoon in PV.

The food was very good but the service was very disappointing. This was a no host wedding dinner for 30 guests. Several people asked for individual checks but were ignored. A final group check was presented. Everyone paid for what they ordered, plus very generous tips, but came up short of the bill. The waiters were not willing to try and resolve the descrepancy. We were overcharged several hundred dollars, and the waiters complained we had left an insufficient tip. The wedding coordinator presented the complaint to the owner within a few days; the response was a voucher for 3,000 pesos for any restaraunt in P.V. and an excuse of a new computer program that didn't keep track of the bar orders. This response came after we were already back in the U.S.

Everything was great. My daughter and son-in-law live in PV and go there ofter. During one trip, we noticed a significant price change. Appears there is a different menu and price list for the local Mexicans and another for the tourists. When confronted about this, denied it but later admitted the 2nd menu for tourists. Even so, on of my favorites. Other one to try: Las Carmelitas in the mountains. Crazy ride there, but beware of margueritas, the price is not listed and they are 140-160 pesos. Like $15 each. WOW, but the view is great. In Bucerius, 15 miles up the coast, visit Sandrinas. most wonderful outside courtyard dining I have ever experienced. Now, my favorite in all Mexico.

Enchiladas, like enchiladas I imagine in heaven. Enough said. Based on the reviews, I can't wait to go back and try the guacamole. And one of the best finds was the shop downstairs...they have the most beautiful colored blown glass vases. I never saw similar vases in town, so I was glad that I went off the beaten path.

Very reasonable authentic Mexican restaurant the food was good and the service okay. We enjoyed our meal. The soups are very good and you get a nice mexican meal for your money.

My wife and I stumbled into Los Arbolitos while on a random walk through Old Town PV. I concur with all the other reviewers that this is a 5 star gem. Clean, friendly, great atmosphere, fabulous margaritas (no mix used - just lime and grand marnier), the best guacamole (made fresh at your table) and oh yes excellent food too !! It is located ~10 blocks from the Malecon at the east end of Lazaro Cardenas Street - directly across from the bridge over Rio Cuale. You can take a cab but I suggest walking the length of Lazaro Cardenas if you want to experience real Mexico vs what you find up north by the big hotels.

If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, check out Los Arbolitos. Super friendly, no-hassle atmosphere. Friendly, “low-profile” service. Great drinks and very tasty food! Make sure to take you drink up to the roof and enjoy the beautiful view!!! If you like Los Arbolitos, you will also enjoy the restaurant Las Carmelitas, which you can actually see from Los Arbolitos high up on the side of the mountain!
