Chico's Paradise Restaurant, Bar and Grill, Puerto Vallarta

I live in Banderas Bay and it has just come to light that the staff at this restauarant recently threw hot oil into the faces of kittens that were hanging around the restaurant, some died, some suffered burns. That is intolerable and therefore I urge everone to boycott this restaurant ands not recommend it either.

I traveled there with my family, my brother took us there to see chicos paradise, my friend who is verry loud and a few beer and ricias later, was told to shsh by a family who was celebrating there mothers b-day, cause his loudness, before i new we where invitide to join with them, they brought the 2 cases of wine from Calif. 'cause the mom could not drink the water, LOL. Then we where invited to a home they rented above the church downtown Puerto V. the best day of my life if your not a (fun hater). The Bull fight, the jungle, the ricia, my brother was the best. He passed away in Vallarta Dec. 06. He was from Calif.

We were told in PV to head south to this place. Long drive, scenery was good. At Chico's the gorge and river and sounds were awesome. Washrooms were filthy. Ants galore! Up your chair, across the table, long lines of ants coming/going from everywhere! Food -- mediocre at the best. Pack your own lunch and enjoy the views from your car! Cidnee Elise/CANADA

This is a very unique location, but the food was mediocre at best and very expensive. The children begging for money while you were eating your meal was a bit much as well. There are way better options of where to spend an afternoon in Puerto Vallarta, and i won't repeat this excursion.

We rented a jeep for the day and went south out of Puerto Vallarta. Just having a kind of lazy day exploring. We saw this restaurant that didn't look like very much from the road, but we thought it would be fun to check it out. As you walked down steps into the restaurant area, it was just fabulous. You felt like you were in a little jungle and then it just opens out overlooking the mouth of some body of water...can't remember which one...just beautiful. Great ambiance! Good food and great service.
