New Orleans, Mexico City

Ladies & Gents, New Orleans and the French Quarter are still an amazing place to be. The bars, the restaurants, bourbon st, the warf....all of it. If you have not spend a couple days on the bayou during mardi gras then you have never lived. People talk about crime... I'm from Chicago, and there is crime everywhere, there is no escaping it. And coming from someone with a "trouble" nickname, I have yet to ever have a problem in N.O. If you go out and can't control yourself and do stupid things in any city, you are going to get in trouble. GOTO New Orleans, goto bourbon st, have a hand-grenade and just relax, take in some good music, food, and culture that you won't find anywhere else in North America.

new orleans was an enlightening adventure. Bourbon street was the most exciting place I had ever been, but from what I gathered the terror of crimes and what is lurking around dark corners was just as bad before the residents endured such a disaster.

As a Mexico City native and Jazz and Blues lover I can recomend highly this place, adicionaly as a food lover it have a very good restorant.
