Description

Given the quality of its cuisine, the incomparable service and the sumptuous decor of the place, this restaurant can be classed as one of the best places to dine on Japanese haute cuisine. Set within a large house decorated in Oriental style, the restaurant immediately transports the visitor to Japan. The interior gardens are remarkable; as well as being beautiful, they make for a relaxed zen-like atmosphere. Some of the most popular items are the teppanyaki with various types of meat, and the shabu shabu. From Monday to Friday, you can listen to the excellent pianist.

Excellent though expensive

Much better than the Suntory Lomas, japanese businessmen prefer to attend this Suntory . I have gone to this restaurant for over 20 years and actually have the privilege of belonging to the Suntory club, so bottles are cheaper.

Great Food

It's been many years since I have been to this restaurant with my husband. I remember the food was excellent and next time I'm in Mexico City I'll visit Suntory again.

Top quality Japanese food in Mexico City

Not for travellers on a budget, however, slightly more reasonable than in Japan, Europe, or US. Well worth a splurge if you are in the city and love Japanese cuisine. Excellent preparation and service.
