I enjoyed the Parque Metropolitano immensly! The sheer pleasure of riding a bike or having a family picnic is magnified at the Parque Metropolitano due to its size, atmosphere (safe and tranquil), and beauty.
We had a great time on the bike paths riding four to a "bike." The park was clean and well groomed (grass cut, paths clear), inviting us to explore and enjoy to the fullest. What I really like about it, is being in the middle of it, watching all the trees, it's almost like being out of the city. The dawns are awesome.
In a more practical view, you can rent bicycles or run in the two circuits it has. It's the place to be if you like either of these activities.
