While here, you can view a series of murals including that of Jose María Servín depicting the origin and customs surrounding the agave-based liquor, Guillermo Cháves' work and Gabriel Flores' "Mitología e historia del tequila" (Mythology and History of Tequila). Enjoy a shot of tequila, on the house, to accompany the tour.

Great Tour

My friends and I had a english speaking tour guide. He gave us an education on the liquid gold as well as a history lesson. The tour was very inexpensive and we all got to sample!! We are returning to the area again next week!! we loved it. The town was a lovely little village with a beautiful old time central square and church. Lots of families were out in the evening with street venders. We even wittinessed a Mexican wedding.
