Tequila Express
Description
A first class train travels to the land of Tequila leaving from the Guadalajara train station every Saturday morning. It's a grand touristic adventure, filled with thrills for the whole family with Mariachi, tequila and beer on board, as well as expert guides who take the time to explain the route and talk about the Hacienda de San Josel Refugio, where Tequila Herradura is manufactured. Once there, guides lead a tour through the museum, showing how Tequila was made by past artisans, as well as the modern processes. After the tour, a traditional Mexican lunch is sponsored, with live acts displaying traditional dances and songs from the region. The train returns back to Guadalajara during the evening. Prices are MXN770 for adults; MXN400 for children under 12; children under 5 travel for free.

What a wonderful day. I expected this to be a real snore, but it was an absolute ball. The people, food and train were all first class, a must for anyone in Guadalajara
