Description

Plaza del Sol is undoubtedly one of the most favored plazas in Guadalajara. Unlike many shopping centers, Plaza del Sol is an outdoors area where you will find plenty of different boutiques, banks, ice-cream parlors, restaurants, snack shops and more. There are also several department stores. It is ideally located between Avenida López Mateos and Avenida Mariano Otero—two of the city's main streets. It has ample indoor and outdoor parking.

I like that you can do your shopping outside and enjoy a sunny day while eating some delicious ice cream. I love this plaza and really can't wait to go back.

So much FUN!!!!

Plaza del Sol is such a fun place. I spent a semester in Guadalajara and frequently visted Plaza del Sol. They have great stores, a great bar, and a restaurant that has the best tacos dorados and lechera anywhere!

Lovely Mexican Mall

Unlike other malls in the Guadalajara area that look like you are in the US of America. This mall has a real mexican vibe. There is variety of shoe, clothing and other miscellaneous shops. They also have many places to eat. One of my favorites is a creperie/coffee shop. We go to Guadalajara at least once a year and this is my favorite mall in that area, I could spend hours there.

Lots of great deals, a little confusing at times as stores are not grouped in any particular order.This of course means lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes. The fact that you spend lots of time outdoors is fabulous and because of the market-like atmosphere you really enjoy the mexican experience. Make sure to allow lots of time for exploration.

plaza del sol guadalajara

Plaza del sol de Guadalajara is a very nice mall. You can find all sorts of things there and have a lot of fun. The cloths have a very high quality. Its also outdoors so you can enjoy the beautiful weather in Guadalajara Mex.
