DO NOT BOOK WITH SCUBA DU! I made reservations in the States and was assured by George that everything would be handled with email and when the boat picks me up at my other hotel! PROMISED! When I got to Cozumel I got a call from George that I needed to take a taxi to El Presidente to fill out paperwork and show my C Card. I've dove with Dive With Martin, Dive Paradise, others, and they have the paperwork on the boat and don't waste 2 hours of my time and an extra $20 taxi fare. Did the morning 2 tank dive, they've changed to a big SLOW boat, took forever to get to San Francisco Reef and back! They used to have 6 diver fast boats. Then, they decided to night dive Paradise Reef, right out from El Presedente, and simply decided not to come pick me up down at Fiesta Americana. I had assurances 'FOR SURE, FOR SURE' George said. They would come the next evening to pick me up for the night dive! I called later to verify the time, talked to George again! Called afterwards to find out what happened and George simply said they went without me! I love going to Cozumel, staying at Fiesta Americana and diving. Been doing it for years. Plans go wrong, things happen. George knew he wasn't coming to pick me up, and lied! With the others I've gotten calls, not enough people for them to go, and they've set me up with their competition, several times. For one I had to get to town fast, jumped on a moped with the shop guy and he took me to the pier to dive with another company! WHAT A WASTE!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH SCUBA DU!

This hotel and Cozumel are favorite places on earth. yes the hotel is pricey for mexico but the service is amazing, as are the people and the food. Diving...sublime, although the reef took a hit with Katrina, dives such as Santa Rosa Walls and the Palancar Caves are still amazing. (I am a Padi DIVEMASTER W/over 500 dives. If you go, enjoy! YOu will meet many people who have been there 3,7,10 times before for a reason!!!! Dive safely!
