Balones of Chankanaab
Description
Balones of Chankanaab is an excellent dive for novices. This reef is located just south of the Chankanaab Reef in the Parque Marino de Cozumel. This dive has a series of giant balloon shaped coral heads that go on for quite a distance. A large population of giant lobsters and crabs make their home in between the coral heads. This site does not get a lot of traffic and has excellent clarity. Depths reach between 60-70 feet. A premium site for photography.
