Plaza Central, San Miguel de Cozumel

Officially part of Parque Benito Juarez, but referred to as just "la plaza" this town square is steps away from the ferry docks. Cruise ship passengers, Cancun day-trippers, shoppers, and locals can be seen here day and night. The numerous shops, restaurants, and bars keep the area hopping. Every Sunday night, there is a free open-air concert of dance and music that locals and tourist come to enjoy. When in doubt about what to do in San Miguel, head down to "la plaza" for an idea.
