Fat Tuesday, Fracc Santa Anita

The best part about this place is the view. It is right off of the pier with a fantastic view! It was a nice spot to stop for photos...after that I can't say anything positive. The service was horrible...the waiter and bartender were very rude! Even though it was not busy at all we waited and waited for someone to come to our table to take our drink order. Finally, I went to the bar to order drinks and also to ask about the frozen drinks. The bartender was the rudest one I have ever come across. I asked about the frozen drinks, and she replied 'what do you think, our drinks are dirty?". I just bought the canned drinks and told her no thank you on the frozen ones. I went back to the table and still got no service. I guess they don't want our American money here! Everyone that I came across in the stores and other restaurants were very friendly and went out of their way for your service and tip. Go to the restaurant just across the street for good food and good prices and excellent service. Some other people from our Cruise who did eat here said that the food was not good and was overpriced and the drinks were watered down. Glad we passed on the food! Love Cozumel....too bad they have a place with this type of servicehere right off of the pier. Just keep walking past this colorful joint!

That is the best of everything-food,fun,staff,music and The Best Frozen Margarita in the world!!!!

We had a nice time here, there was 6 of us, a couple of drinks a few snacks. They tried to overcharge us! Wrote our total on the back of a beer coaster of $240.00 USD. Tried to get 3 different checks....long story short...we got the menu showed what we ordered, about $60. difference. I don't mind tipping....but I do mind getting ripped off! Insist on an itemized bill.

The nachos tasted horrible, they charged us for a coke that was undrinkable. Wouldn't go back ever

tThe waiter was freindly and brought us a menu in spanish and english. He didn't even blink when we ordered rhe large sampler platter and two bottled waters. the sampler was hot and very generous that we could not finish it.we will be back again on the next cuise.

I loved the atmosphere.There were people dancing at the bar and they played up to date club music.The waiters were fantastic. The food was incredible. This was my first cruise to Mexico. When we cruise again this June I totally plan on returning to Fat Tuesday!!

I stopped by for just one beer. They were all partying and having lots of fun. By the time, I left, I had 8 beers and did some fancy dancing. People here are friendly and you can walk back to the ship safely. Will go back again when I have my next cruise in January.

We were on the main square looking for a new place to try and decided to stop in at Fat Tuesday for a few drinks and food. I ordered nachos and my family ordered chicken fajitas and shrimp fajitas. All of our food was cold, mine especially. My nachos consisted of chips with canned queso poured over the chips with some chopped cold chicken and sliced halapeno's. They provided grated cheeze and cold refried beans on the side. When I complained to our waiter he said there was nothing he could do beside inform the cook and that the new owner was American and he wanted to serve American style food. (By the way, the one that had shrimp fajita's was sick for the following 2 days.

My Husband and I recently went to Playa Del Carmen Mexico. We decided to take the 45min ferry to Cozumel for dinner. Fat Tuesday was actually our second choice for dinner that evening. We planned to eat at The Hard Rock Cafe until we saw the price of a burger & fries($20). We walked out, down the street and around the corner to Fat Tuesday! It was an outdoor cafe with bold, bright festive colors and American music. We had delicious food for under $10 each. We both ordeded fruity Daquries & Margaritas for only $5. The people in the restaurant were fiesty and fun and they gave us sombreros to wear for a Fat Tuesday Photo(with our camera). GREAT PLACE! The bathrooms were back in the alleyway though,so we didn't go there! D&J 08

My husband and I took a cruise for our honeymoon (2004) and we were in Cozumel for 12 hrs. Fat Tuesday was the greatest place. We hung out on the back side where it was quieter and thay had swings that we could swing on. Miami Vice is the drink to have!! We can't wait to go back!
