You won't have any trouble making up your mind on what to eat—lobster is your only choice! This whole restaurant is done up with a maritime theme. You walk a plank to get inside and sit amongst nets and shells adorning the palapa (thatched) roof. Yes, it's hokey but the lobsters are incredibly fresh and succulent similar to Maine lobster only saltier. Lobsters are sold by weight, salad, bread, a beverage and soup are included with your meal.
Truely AWESOME! My wife will not even eat lbster in the USX anymore after eating here. It is on the very North end of the island on the main drag. You pick your lobster, you pay by its weight. Each is served with a delicious rice and vegggies and bread. Nothing elaborate just dang GOOD!!! My wife and I normally share a $60 lobster. ANd we are stuffed when we leave! Family owned. Quite, candle light dining. Plenty of boos. Next door the family has another restuarant which serves steak, shrimp and lobster. Give it a try YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED..Francisco will take are of YOU. We were introduce to the Lobster House 6 years ago and normally eat here atleast 2 times during our stay!
Enjoyed a "best ever" lobster here with my wife on July 13, 2009. Only serves lobster -- fresh from the "other" sde of the island. Each of the three things on the menu -- lobster, conch chowder and key lime pie -- is frst rate. Wonderful open air candle light area in the back. Sweetest tenderest lobster you will ever eat.
