Description

Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Wilma, the following description may no longer be accurate. Please consider this when making your travel plans. Belgian waffles topped with fresh fruit, breakfast tacos, and omelets are just a few of the great beginnings to the day at this American-style coffee house and restaurant. The lunch menu offers soups, salads, sandwiches and vegetarian dishes. If it's a pick-me-up you're after, a full coffee bar is available offering espresso, cappuccino, lattes and mochas. Fresh baked pastries, including double-fudge brownies, cheesecake, muffins and apple pie, are available to satisfy the sweetest tooth.

I live in Maryland where thai food is huge right now so when we started joansin for thai food we were amazed to find it right around the corner from our hotel. It was out of this world fantastic and our host Ernesto was great. Highly recommended.

Thai Noodle, ask for Ernesto, great host!!

The service was excellent, food was great and authentic. Ernesto helped pick dishes and made sure the spice mix was tolerable for our American palates. Would definitely return on the next trip. It's a little harder to find so look on the south side of the Mega store.

We arrived in Cozumel on a flight that was 6 hours late to find we were locked out of the rental house. Someone on the street sent us to Rocknjava to speak to Lisa and see if she could help us. She not only helped us get into our house but she provided us with food, warmth and friendship for the next 10 days. Her restaurant is one of the most tourist friendly places I have ever been to. And the food is fantastic. We are forever fans.

Wonderful

The atmosphere was wonderful. I had coffee and pecan pie, oh, my goodness, it was a perfect blend. The pecan pie was the absolute best pecan pie I have ever had, and speaking as a person who lives in the south, that is saying a great deal.

Don't Miss This Place!

Rockin' Java is by far my family's favorite restaurant on the island! Healthy, fresh food, great ocean view, and friendly staff! My favorite item is the Tortilla Soup, though everything I've had is delicious. Also, the entire staff if cute, cute!

Nice little place

Liked the food. Liked the location--just across the street from the MEGA. Has kids menu with best chicken fingers this side of Texas. I had fish tacos which were excellent--Grouper. Chicken fajiitas were pretty good. Chicked Quesadillas were excellent.

Love their pies!

Before or after a dive, this is by far the best place to eat any meal. After lunch or dinner, you gotta dig their pies!

Rock n Java Caribbean Cafe

We ate breakfast lunch and dinner at Rock n Java the entire week we were in Cozumel. It was fantastic and the service is the best we ever experienced on the island.
