La Habichuela, Cancun

This place has AWESOME food! After learning that the Me Hotel lives up to its bad reputation for being "snooty" as per Yahoo reviews - I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The Garden Salad was amazing, has Jickima ? and a salad dressing that is great. Had the Ranch Steak - and tortas. This place has very professional service and an amazing good taste.

The entire setting is romantic, inviting, easy on the wallet, friendly, great food and a wonderful group of waiters and owners. Ate there with my wife, five nights out of ten. The Mayan coffee is rediculously good and the server was worth every bit of the tip we left.

hey, there is now a 2nd restaurant right across from Kulkulcan Mall. I hade never been to the other but had heard about it. The food was wonderful, service great, and the ambiance incredible. We should have sat outside. Going back in April 2010 and La Habichuela is a must.

Excellent service, terrific food. Mayan food influence with a wide ranging menu.

NO OTHER PLACE LIKE IT ANYWHERE. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, THE FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. HAVE BEEN VACATIONING IN CANCUN FOR 12 YEARS. WE HIT THE HABICHUELA AT LEAST ONCE ON EVERY TRIP.

Great food, awesome sevice wonderful atmosphere!! A little out of the way but the hotel staff knew exactly where it was and how far it was.. Great way to escape the hotel food everyday...
