Description

This long, relatively secluded beach is on the Pacific Ocean side of Land's End . Access is limited to those willing to try the strenuous climb over the rocks from Playa del Amante (Lover's Beach), or to guests of the three peninsula resorts, the Hotel Finisterra , Terra Sol Beach Resort and Solmar Suites . The beach, however, is federal property and its use is open to anyone. Always less busy than the main Cabo beach, Medano Beach , it is only for sunning because of the extremely strong undercurrent.

We had a fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean!!

What I disliked. How we were taken advantage of and robbed of our cameras with all our fabulous photos by the evening maid service named "Flore"

MUCH better than Medano Beach

If you want to relax and enjoy the beach, the sun, the sunset, the sea spray, and listen to waves pound the sand, this is the spot. There are no vendors to hassle you, and only a handful of people walking along the beach (most seem to stick to the resort pools). The waves are too treacherous for swimming, but there are pools at the hotels for that. This isn't an active beach -- it is a relaxation beach, and it is FANTASTIC! Whale watching season makes this spot even better. And the sunsets are amazing. (The description neglected to mention that Playa Grande Resort is also on this beach.)
