Playa el Medano, Cabo San Lucas

Visited Cabo last year and the year before .. Medano Beach is by far the best beach here. With the beautiful views of the arc, the clear ocean water.. Its amazing. We had a great time @ Mango Deck, food, drinks and entertainment was great! We also rented jet skiis.. So much to do @ this beach. Though there are tons of vendors, theyre just trying to make a living, if you sternly say no thank you, they will leave u alone.

Fun to eat/drink/relax. The restaurants do a good job of keeping the vendors out. Great views and lots to watch Food is pretty good although expensive for what it is. Lots of options

Medano Beach is the most fun place in Cabo. It is the party beach (not for children). There are two places you must visit, Billigan's Island and The Office which are right next door to eachother. Billigan's Island has beach chairs free of charge and drinking contests all day long...they also have people come around with free shots, tip them. They have good guacomole and chips and you can pick up a bucket of beer for a very reasonable price. The buckets of beer come with ice which is necessary in Cabo since it is so hot. The office is a restaurant right next door with AMAZING FOOD. They have great crabs (which are huge and you get 3!) and delicious Mexican food. The only con is that there are a lot of vendors that come around, the trick is not to make eye contact. My boyfriend and I are returing to Cabo in August and we can't wait to go back to Medano Beach. We are staying at the Riu whch is also located on Medano Beach but is quite a walk away. The places above are by the Estancia.

Everything you need and want are all right there. Yes, the vendors keep coming by, but they are just trying to make a living. What's better than shopping at the beach!! You can make any deal with them to get what you want.

The vendors ruin this beach for me. I can only say "no" so many times before I want to leave. You will only have to say "no" to each vendor once, but there are hundreds of vendors to interrupt your day at the beach. The bars on the beach are fun, especially for a younger (read: college) crowd. This is the place to go for watersports, so it's certainly good for that -- just not for relaxation. I recommend the glass-bottom boat tour as an escape from vendors. The tour guides are great, and they point out some cool stuff.

Its a nice beach but a beach for shopping. You could just lay down and let the trinkets come to you. If you are looking for a more quit place this is not for you BEWARE OF THE TRINKET SELLERS!!!

The Mango Deck had awesome food and great people. Lots of great activities for the restless teenagers, adventurous adults or enthusticastic kids. I enjoyed my experiance here more than anywhere else I visited in my two weeks in Mexico. My cousins live in San Jose Del Cabo and they absolutely insist everyone who comes to Cabo goes there and of course their dad's restaurant Sardina Cantina.

Medano Beach is a beautiful beach with great swimming for relatively good swimmers. Although there are alot of people trying to sell you things on the beach if you give them a firm "no" they will leave you alone. The restaurants and beach services were all very good and very accomodating.
