Dos Mares, Cabo San Lucas Centro

What I liked was it is around the corner from my office. I have sent my clients there before. The rooms are OK. My clients were satisfied with the accomodations. I am a local business person here in Cabo and Mexican living and working here in the Los Cabos area since 1979. My clientel for the most part foreigners. I had a bad expierience with Dos Mares this last week. I made arrangements with the front desk for a room and confirmed it here locally. I then reconfirmed it 2 days prior to my clients arrival. Checking my client in was a disappointment. I had offered to put a deposit but was assured it would not be neccessary. Upon arrival I was told from the front desk that the room had been rented. I was standing there lookin stupid. There are many more charming hotels in Cabo and one is directly next door. I will never recommend anyone of my clients to stay at the Dos Mares.
