It was fun, with a caveats...

The boat is nice; my 7 year old had a great time (although some of the material during the dance portion at the end was not totally appropriate for her). The views are great. The food was OK--the brochure we got at the hotel makes it looks like they offer a Mexican buffet, plus grilled hotdogs and hamburgers. So we thought our 7 year old would have something to eat--but it's either/or. I think the snorkel cruise has the burgers and dogs and the sunset cruise only has the (skimpy) Mexican buffet. And the drinks--meh. The margaritas were indeed premade and they tasted like Kool-Aid. I can't imagine how many you'd have to drink to get a buzz at the "open bar".
On the other hand, the guy who emcees the thing is really fun, with a great personality. So we had fun, but don't expect anything other than some adequate Mexican food and some very weak drinks.
