Crazy Lobster (The), Cabo San Lucas

If you are looking for a great value on food, that tastes great, than the Crazy Lobster is the place. For $10, I got a huge portion of lobster, that was hot, fluffy, soft, & succulant.They gave me a huge heaping of scallops that were delicious too. This was the first place I ate at in Mexico, and I wasn't aware that you had to ask for the check yourself, so at the time I thought the waiters were being rude by not coming over to my table. Now I feel bad by walking out so upset. If you only have $20 on you, then the Crazy Lobster can give you lobster, steak, and a beer, plus money left over to tip the crew! Excellent! Let me mention, though, if you are looking for better service, a little better food, and a much nicer atmosphere, try the La Parrillada next door.

When I first saw the place I thought it was just some snatch and grab food. We stopped in for a quick bite and were AMAZED! The food was incredible. We actually returned the next night for the steamed bucket. It had lobster, two kinds of crab, mussels, oysters, clams, shrimp, and crawfish. It was served with potatoes and corn. The bloody mary's were pretty good too. I highly reccommend this place. There was no wait and they had a live band. It also faces the Mississippi River and has a great view.

The Crazy Lobster offers great local breakfast fare for almost nothing. A lobster omlette is 4.00 U.S. and a wonderful Huevos Rancheros with all of the fixins is 1.10 U.S they also have wonderful lunch offerings and dinner plates using local products, at similar values. the atmosphere is fun and light hearted and the staff is fun and engaging. Tequila shots all day for .90 U.S This is one of my favorite little local hangouts in Cabo

12-12-08. Ordered the shrimp enchiladas and can't stop dreaming about them. The enchilada sauce is wonderful ! Very casual atmosphere with a very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place for bang for your buck. Delicious !!
