This restaurant and bar combination has a pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Bring your swimsuit and enjoy cool drinks before dinner. The atmosphere is quite casual and the food is remarkable. Try the grilled lobster for MXN 100 or choose from a selection of specials that always includes at least one Mexican and one seafood dish. Sea bass or tuna, fajitas or fresh salsa-topped burritos, you will not be disappointed by the food, the view, or the prices.
We just returned from Cabo and by far this restaurant was the best we found. And we tried them all!!!! Everyone recommended the Giggling Marlin, Squid Roe, other "in town" restaurants. Then one night we decided to stay closer to the corridor and asked the consierge where he would recommend. He sent us to the Villa Serena (within walking distance of the Calinda) with a coupon for the first round of drinks. We weren't sure what to order or what to expect, but it blew our socks off! The coconut shrimp was superb, my husband had the cowboy steak and it was the best he has ever had! DO NOT MISS THE MEXICAN COFFEE HERE! IT IS AN EVENT IN ITSELF! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
