Mi Casa Restaurant & Cantina, Cabo San Lucas

This restaurant is the best in Cabo! I went with my friends to celebrate a birthday and it was great. The food is exceptional - we all tried different dishes and tasted each other's food. Everything was good. The tortillas are hand made and delicious. The decor is charming, with many levels of dining and various rooms that make it intriguing. The service was excellent - a lot of attention to detail. Reservations suggested - we got there soon after it opened on a Friday night and by the time we left, it was packed. Make this a stop on your next trip to Cabo - all of my friends concur that we'll come back here again.

Excellent meal! This is a great place to go for top quality Mexican food. The chicken mole is awesome and all the appetizers are amazing. Beware of the second margarita~~! Everyone if really friendly and the food is not to be missed!

wow for the ambience. their food was ok but not impressive. enjoyed the decor a lot and i'd definitely go back if i get a chance.

We ordered a couple of lobster dinners - one looked great but the other looked shriveled and dark. One bite and it was apparent that it was not edible. The place has had a great reputation but it isn't what it used to be. The margaritas are mostly lime juice - too tangy for my tastes. We won't visit there again.

Just got back from Cabo and wanted to give my "2 pesos" in regard to Mi Casa. The restaurant seemed to be highly recommended by all the sources I happened to see, but I just don't know what on earth these guides or reviewers were thinking. The restaurant's sort of outdoor/indoor seating is nice and fairly charming, but nothing too unique. The food, is absolutely, completely average. 5 of us ate there and each of us had the same experience...bland and average food. On a good note, the service was very good. I would suggest skipping Mi Casa and going to La Fonda's; which is altogether MUCH, MUCH nicer. Wonderful food,ambiance,decor and service. The prices are slightly higher than Mi Casa, but not terribly so. And keeping in mind that the experience and food is better overall, it's well worth it.

Mi casa is a great place to take the family to dinner. The indoor/outdoor ambiance is awesome. Prepare to spend some cash but it is well worth it.

Great food and service. Entertainment was fabulous and fun. Outdoor seating really quaint. Never have to worry about not getting a great meal. It's always great. Have been going there for years.

After eating a lot of resort food, this was the Mexican we had been searching for. Quaint and charming, the food was terrific. The margaritas were good too!

It may look bad on the menu, but when you taste the food it's pretty good The staff is friendly fast and courteous.

We were told they could squeeze us in if we get to the restaurant by 530p. They were very disorganized and didn't seat anyone til almost 6pm. When we left at 730 - two thirds of the place was still empty. Only thing that were good were good were the margaritas. We ordered the seafood platter for two to share. It came out semi cold and nothing to right home about. $8.00 for a small water. $100 for a dinner for two should be more memorable.
