Office (The), Cabo San Lucas

Loved the complimentary chips and pico de gallo! Service was excellent and extremely attentive. Our waiter saw that we were getting chilly under the umbrella so he collapsed it for us so that we could be in the sun. Great happy hour deals from 3pm-5pm (buy one get one pina coladas, beers, dacquiris, and margaritas!) Beautiful view of Land's End too!

The food is the best breakfast, lunch or dinner, the drinks are the best and the bear comes in buckets iced down, you can enjoy yourself from morning till night. The crowed keeps changing so it is always entertaining. To top things off there is RAMBO who always keeps the party going. The best food and service in Cabo, the price has gone up everywhere but you don't mind spending the money when you always have a great time.

The food here was pretty good. Prices were what you would expect from any other restaurant. The only thing I didn't like here and in all other restaurants ON the beach is the vendors that try and get you to buy stuff while you eat. BOO!!

Toying around with planning a trip back to Cabo with Hubby, we've been 3 times. We enjoyed our breakfasts at The Office. Their french toast & huevos rancheros were yummy! Eating outside at the beach, watching the sunrise. Paradise! We ONLY ate breakfast there so I can't offer a lunch or dinner review. Prices were fair & service friendly. This was a long ass time ago, I haven't returned under the new ownership. After reading some of these reviews, sounds like things at The Office sure have changed. [Sigh] It didn't seem so cramped with tables when we were there either (I noticed photos on other sites). Kinda packed in like sardines, I guess it's about the dollar now. Bummer...

Food quality was very poor, especially for the very expensive price. The only thing worth going for was the view. I will not go back for the food!

We used to enjoy the Office, but the prices have gotten very high, while the food & service have gone downhill. We will not go back. The only thing good here is the ambiance of having your feet in the sand while watching the ocean, and you can get that at other restaurants on the beach with better quality, better service and better food.

Having traveled all over Mexico and surrounding country I was really surprised a what a treat Cabo was so much infact we bought a time share - The office was great - the service is wonderful the beer is cold and Shrimp are huge - It is right on the beach so it is every excessible. We are returning to Cabo this week , thank god!

Amazing food. Amazing environment. Spend some time at The Office when you're in Cabo! I think about this place all the time. Making my reservations now...

I have been going to Cabo for 11 years, 2-3 times a year. The office was AWESOME until about 5 years ago when ownership changed. They had a wonderful happy hour where you could get shots of premium tequila 2 for 1 (like Don Julio). This is gone now. Happy hour only includes some beer types, 2x1. What is REALLY BAD now is the restaurant prices. The last time I had dinner there was 2004 when you could get twin lobster tails for about 25bucks (when they were on special). I almost freaked when I opened the dinner menu there last weekend. 70bucks for lobster and 45 bucks for steak. This is a joke. This is not NY city. This is not some pimped out restaurant. This is what is ruining Cabo in my opinion. Little Gems that have become full-price tourist traps. I would NEVER recommend having dinner at the Office to anyone I know in the future. If you want a great Cabo meal, I suggest the Sand Bar which is on the beach just before the Melia hotel, or Al Cabo Que which is right across the street from the Bahia hotel. These places still offer a GREAT meal for real Cabo prices. For example, you can go to Al Cabo Que for lunch and get 3 absolutely AWESOME shrimp or fish tacos for 6bucks. Thats what Cabo prices used to be and what made Cabo a great place....

If you like the beach and the water, this is the place! The food is actually very good but pricey. It is worth it though. Where else can you eat just feet from the water's edge? The service was great, the food is great and they serve you nice portions. Definitely a place to have dinner while in Cabo!
