Cabo Wabo Cantina, Cabo San Lucas

I can't believe there is no mention of El Faro Viejo Trailer Park/Restaurant in this list. Do yourselves a favor and hunt down this gem of a place located in the interior of Cabo San Lucas!!! They are only open for dinner (5 PM to 10 PM) and reservations are reccommended, which says a lot for the place since they are a bit of the beaten path. Excellent food!!! YUM!!!

eat somewhere else before you go there. Saturday nights are the best. GREAT band the night night i was there. lots of dancing - FUN FUN FUN. yes things are a little pricey . just eat and get drunk before you go out. And it don't get busy till around 9 on saturday night. Weeknights are dead.

The food is really really good, relaxed & casual atmosphere, prices good! Great bar! The service was among the best in cabo. Try the waborita, its fantastic!

We always have a great time the party never ends. One of the coolest places to go in Cabo. Stop by and have a drink with Sammy.

They have a better rate of exchange than other establishments in Cabo (11 Pesos to 1 US Dollar), so it is by far the BEST dinner bargain in Cabo. I think this restaurant captures the true essence of Cabo San Lucas. I wish I ate there more than once while I was there. I can't say enough great things about the food. Sammy's tequila lime shrimp is to die for! They said at the cantina the recipe is on the website, but I have yet to find it. Be careful, the waiters serve you bottled water without asking for it, and then put it on your tab. I think we went through about 6 bottles, which jacked up the total on our dinner tab. Don't leave Cabo Wabo without sampling a Waborita. They're fabulous! You'll end up leaving the cantina with a bottle of Cabo Wabo tequila...or 5. Get the Damiana at Duty Free on your way out for $15. They do check ID's, so underage drinkers will get bounced at the door.

I have to say that i loved this place, i did visit alot of bars in Cabo, but this one by far was the best. The vibe in this place is unreal, the staff was great including a waiter by the name of ALONZO...very cool guy. Over all i recommend every person go visit, the locals are nice and the music is the best to boogie too...ill be back, i plan on going back again this yr!
