El Squid Roe
Ask any local what nightclub they recommend and they will definitely mention this one. It attracts a primarily younger crowd with its deafening music and pop hits from the 80s. To contrast with the 80s they offer the quintessential disco balls, lightshows and house a few good-sized dance floors just to add to the fun. Both food and beer are served here, but the drink of choice for most of the clientele are the tequila shots that cost from USD1-USD2. Other than those, "shooters," the drinks are a bit pricey. They don't have a cover charge.
I loved El Squid Roe! It was my favorite place to party. The atmosphere is upbeat and awesome and the staff are kind, helpful, and FUN. I'm so glad I got to check it out. If you go no where else go to El Squid Roe..... :)
I promise you will have a blast.
Stopped over on a cruise. Toured the city & had to visit this & one other restaurant. Squid Roe, made us want to party at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. They even made our kids have an awesome time. Very entertaining. Can't wait to go back!
This is the place you want to go to if you like college students that are rawdy, want to relive the ulimate hangover, or want to pick up a drunk college student. It is overly loud, has horrible food, and the music isn't even that good. Maybe if I was in my late teens earily, earily 20's I might have liked it.
If you just have to say you went, there is an offical El Squid Roe store around the corner where you can buy a t-shirt or 2 and not suffer through the experience.
There are so many other and much, much better places to go and party.
Only go to Squid Roe if you like to party and have a great time. It's loud, fun, over the top, and did I mention fun? Everybody gets involved with the conga line, singing while standing on the table, and doing "YMCA". If you miss this place you didn't go to Cabo!
El Squid Roe is the best bar in Cabo, there's always something going on - they have you dancing on the tables, a conga line, tequila shots, and more. It's so much fun, the staff is very friendly & upbeat & the food is good. That was the place we had to go every night for a good time.
I was told El Squid Roe was the place and it was. My girlfriends and I went to all the other clubs and always ended up there. My high light was all the men who work there get out on the dance floor and do an awesome dance routine. One of my best memories was dancing with Edgar, I think he puts all the dance moves together at the club. I know he made me look like I knew what I was doing. I still have a smile on my face. Food was great and everyone made you feel like it was an old hangout. El Squid Roe Rocks!!!!!
Again, not a bad word about Squid (is how me and my sister came to name it) or Elscudro haha.
From the moment you put your foot on those bleacher like, metal steps outside everybody makes you feel welcome.
We went in november-december so it wasn't nearly packed, but still a good crowd.
Met most of the staff, remember all of their names, and really miss them.
You just don't get that good service/hospitality in The Netherlands :(
A hint to new Cabo-goers; skip the other clubs and go straight to Squid! (it gets reaally fun after 11)
