After all the shopping is done and you are tired of visiting museums, live action laser tag might be a good way to get the heart beating faster while harmlessly getting rid of your aggressions. There is a maze, fog, darkness, dim neon lighting, ramps, catwalks, music and Twilight Zone sound effects for an experience that is escapism at its best. Many different games are available, and extra late hours on weekends make it a good way to start a night out.
Laser tag there is great fun, Laser Quest is definitely one of the best places to go for laser tag and a great place to go. The multiple floors and walls and openings all over the place make for an awesome adrenalin pumping game, and there's plenty of places to run after (or hide, if you want, but probably not for long) or away from another player.
The game takes on a feel of the great science fiction movies, it can allow you feel as though you are in a futuristic combat zone, but for sure a futuristic game. You can play in "close combat, or the mirrors and grated walls allow for you to play as a laser-tag "sniper" if you would like. It's always fun afterwards to then see how well you scored in the game as compared to how well your friends or whoever else you played the game with did (although the games do seem to end a lot quicker than you expect them to, evidence of the adage "time flies when you're having fun").
For this game, the more people who are playing, the more fun the game is going to be in general I would guess. The time I went there we played laser tag on a class trip with about 50 people, we had a great time. However, I'm quite sure you can have a great time there with any size group of people. It's a great game.
Laser Quest is sooo cool! Even my dad (45) thought it was the best of that day! At first is seems really small (lounge) but once you're actually in the arena, it hugmongeous( i probably didn't spell it right). You really should go there!
Laser quest is one of the funnest places in Montreal. At one point me and my friends were going there once a week. For 7$ you can run around a crazy maze with smoke and music and shoot your friends, and enemies with lasers, not to mention u get to wear this cool laser pack and sneak around to the mission impossible theme. All in all its great fun for a great price .. so ya go check it out.
