Pierre du Calvet Restaurant, Montreal

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. My husband and I stayed at Maison Pierre du Calvet for our 1st, 2nd, and 4th anniversaries, and the highlight of our trip was always our dinner at Pierre du Calvet. The food was wonderful and unusual (we had caribou and quail among other things). The dining room has a wonderful fireplace and an elegant and intimate feel. The service was superb; we always had the same waiter, he remembered us from one visit to the next, and he took very good care of us. He was knowledgable about the food and the city, and whenever we weren't sure, we followed his recommendations.
