Description
It's basically dinner and a show at this Parc Avenue Greek hotspot; a riotous bouzouki band holds court from Thursday to Sunday, encouraging diners to abandon their meals and take to the dance floor. It's a tough decision, though, specialties like fried bread with a pepper and feta cheese dip and mincemeat patties with mint combine with traditional lamb and seafood appetizers and main courses to form one of the city's finest Greek menus. In the summer, the patio is one of the finest in the area.
It is the most incredible food I ever had. Their grilled octapus is fabulous. Their grilled veggie platter is even better. I have yet to visit this place and leave dissapointed. And the partying is incredible. GREEKS RULE.
I'd heard good things, but overall I was quite disappointed. The saganaki and asparagus starters were quite good, but the three main courses we had were not fantastic - the lamb dinner and lamb chops were both not bad, but the side dishes were all pretty bad - the potatos were nicely flavoured, but cold, the orzo was tasteless and mushy, and the horta (boiled greens) was overcooked and quite bitter. The octopus main course was slightly overcooked, a bit greasy and kind of flavourless.
I would not recommend Mythos - I had a much better experience for about the same money at Philinos, just down the street.
AUTHENTIC greek cuisine, just like in Levidi, Jimmy's home town! Inviting atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food! The lamb, the seafood, the porgy, the bread, the xorta..try it all! OPA!

We go to Montreal frequently, and for the last couple of years we eat at Mythos everytime we visit. The owner is very friendly as well as the wait staff. Don't miss this restaurant!
