Beautful and Educational
I just got back from a convention located at Black Creek. The fascilities for the convention were great. Very modern and comfortable. It was so nice to take lunch in the village, and wonder around, looking at all the historic buildings and the farm animals. I wish we had more time to see the entire village. The place was huge!
There were two restaraunts, catering to different tastes. One, near the event pavillion, sold hamburgers, hot off the grill. Very good, basic food. The other restaraunt was located in the Halfway House. There you get to watch as they make homemade bread in a brick oven before your meal. I didn't get to eat there, but other attendees assured me the food was good, and very plentiful.
The staff seemed friendly and eager to share their knowlege. They were also very helpful when I thought I lost my credit card in the village.
All in all, a very good experience I can't wait to have again.
