CN Tower

Description

At 553.3 meters, this is one of the world's tallest buildings. Since its spectacular opening in 1976, the CN Tower has hosted close to two million visitors a year. One of the most exciting ways to see the world is from the exterior, glass-floored observation deck, located 342 meters above the ground. Go up to the Space Deck at 447 meters and marvel at a spectacular 160-kilometer view. The revolving 360 Restaurant and Horizons Bar complete the dizzying picture.

too pricey
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/30/07
Average place. What else can I say? Too much hype and nothing more. Okay at the best. Have little expectations and then it might be okay. it is a too pricey to get up to the top,

Good attraction for a sunny morning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/3/06
I went for myself visiting the up of this famous tower, in june 2006. You got a wonderful view from the town to the sea. Few hours in the morning, with fresh air are enough to tour the tower :)

amazing view!
By jadegeisha, 11/29/06
the view was incredible... we went on a partly cloudy day so i'd recommend going on a very sunny day to get the best view. you could see all of toronto. it was a little pricey, especially to go the very top- the skypod. we went to the observation level and the glass floor level....the glass floor was so cool! it was a great photo op and a fun experience.

you just have to
By scott, 11/21/06
everyone should do this. its only 21 bucks to get up to the sky deck, but for an additional 5 bucks you can go higher to the sky pod. make sure that you get the sky pod/ sky deck/ glass floor package. otherwise its going to be 9 dollars more when your on the sky deck. this is the single greatest activity in the city. somehow we spent almost two hours there looking at the city.

Amazing view - not one for vertigo sufferers! I was to scared to stand on the glass section of the floor but for all of you going the whole floor is glass but just covered in carpet.

The CN Tower, Toronto
By Jake Caim, 9/27/06
This past weekend I took my family of 5 to Toronto for the first time. One of the things we were most looking forward to was making the ascent up the CN Tower. My heart sank when I found out the cost would exceed $112 ($26 adult, $20 child). I simply hadn't budgeted this much money for what should have been a relatively inexpensive seegment of the trip. For comparison, the Empire State Building in NYC costs $18 adult. The Sears Tower in Chicago costs $13 per person. Even the EIFFEL TOWER in Paris only costs 11 Euros. The price they charge for this is EXORBITANT and I think they should be ashamed of themselves for it. This is why the great american family vacation is becoming a thing of the past. All you people out there who pay this rediculous cost should take a look at yourselves for allowing them to get away with it.

Good.Bad
By Diana, 8/13/06
The glass floor it cool but it was really crowded, dirty and small. The lines are really Looooooooooooong. so get a quick pass. You can see a better view from an air plane. also the making of the CN tower movie was cool, but the Legos racecar one is totaly not worth it! I wiated for 1 hour (really!) and the ride was like watch a race car race. thats all. and it lasted for like 5min.

I SEE MY HOUSE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/06
I loved the CN tower, it is a great place to go and experience. The 360 restaurant in the top is a little pricey but the view that you get is priceless so it is a fair trade off. Being from Toronto I love it because the CN tower is an internation symbol and because it is yet another achievement that Canadians have to clam as their own. There are wonderful things for the kids, and the adults it is a great place to take school trips to teach them about geography, just the view alone lets them see all the cities and towns in the GTA.

The CN Tower
By Brittany, 6/4/06
The CN Tower is beautiful and its site is wonderful. I think that it is amazing how they have a transportation up and down the tower that allows you to view everything.
