Hoops Sports Bar & Grill, Toronto

During a recent trip to toronto, a couple of friends and i decided to go for a quick afternoon beer and bite to eat before we were to hit the town later that night, and we stumbled quite accidently on Hoops. Well to cut a long story short,we never left that bar all night. If you love any type of sport....any.....you must visit Hoops!There are screens everywhere showing all types of sport,from ice hockey to basketball,to soccer to athletics to motor racing but to name a very few.If you sit in one of the side tables you even have your own screen complete with remote so you can watch whatever sport you like. There is a smoking room with pool tables and view of several screens including the large projection screen behind the bar, so not to bother anyone with your smoke. But i have to comment on the food.There are all types of beers of course, but the food was exceptional. Massive portions of well cooked,amazingly tasty food. I HIGHLY recommend the baby back ribs with fries and salad all for around $12,you will be stuffed and wanting more. Its a Fantastic atmosphere. During my stay i quickly became a regular there and when i go back to toronto,i know the first bar i will be visiting. I must add that i am english, we, like canadians are mad about sport, probably like you, and if thats the case you cant go wrong with this place,ENJOY!
