Barberian's Steak House, Toronto

This time we enjoyed Rack of Lamb with mint jelly and Baby Back Spare Ribs with hot fruit compote. Everything prepared perfectly to our wishes and served piping hot from the kitchen. We started with Onion soup au Gratin and House Salad with to die for house made blue cheese dressing. We finished with an Old Fashioned Banana Split with extra whipped cream. Our server was attentive but not intrusive and every request was quickly responded to. We will most certainly return again and again. Our treat of the night was the Grange Winery 2010 Riesling VQA from Prince Edward County, winner of the 2012 Winemakers’ Award at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. What a great wine.

The atmosphere of Barberians is fantastic. The service from all of the employees was impeccable. The food was delicious and I had the best beef I will ever have in town. Wine selection and all, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Catherine

Warm atmosphere, Fantastic food, wonderful service, unbeatable winelist..I can't say enough about this restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a memorable evening.

We have been coming here when the present owner/manager,Aaron, was still working on the floor. (The owners "kid" - sorry Aaron)The food is fantastic, the wine list is so large that it takes a long time to decide; but, eventually you will always pick a winner. Attended for a company function. I know the Barolo wine was over three hundred a bottle and neither my wife or I cared for it. Rude waiter - "you should have been listening to me"!!!!! Out of stock on listed liquor that I requested. Out of stock on desert they are supposed to be famous for. Steak good. A sham that will be found out. Not worth the money and I would definitely not recommend it. Dined at The Keg two days earlier and the service and steak were vastly superior.

I had one of my most memorable meals at Barberian's. The food was perfect. The wine was divine. Our waiter Ted made me feel Like a princess. It's my new and maybe forever fave!!!

This place has fantasic food and great service. The owners are very nice and the steak I had was by far the best I've had in Canada (and even the US). It was a very enjoyable and memorable experiance. My only regret was that I didn't see a celebrity, like many others do when they go.

My massive t-bone was average. Nice flavour but not particularly tender. My wife could barely chew through the shoe leather she was served. She likes her steak well done but not vulcanized. The rest of the food was very good and the wine list is incredible. The service was great and we enjoyed the unique decor. At the end of the day though, this place is supposed to be about steak. Unfortunatley, the meat would have only been acceptable at a fast food chain if it was at 1/10th the price.

we come to Tornto from NYC every few months for work. We have many great steak houses in the city, but non come close to matching the service food and valule of Barberian's. The Host Mr Barberian treats us like the many stars we often see dining in his fine establisment. Keep up the good work
