Thai Jasmine Restaurant
Located on the edge of Cabbagetown, this restaurant offers authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. Unusual for an Asian restaurant, the setting is an old Victorian home. But the combination works, as this restaurant has won Dining Out magazine's Gold Seal of Achievement Certificate. Fireplaces bookend the warm and cozy room with its light-brown walls, hanging plants, potted flowers and Thai prints. Main dishes include Green Curry Chicken, Green Bean Pork and Red Curry Shrimp. Or try one of the Thai Spring Roll appetizers.
What an amazing find. I stumbled upon this restaurant five years ago with my boyfriend on our first date. We were so impressed. Beautiful, intimate setting, very friendly and attentive staff and the food was absolutely mouth-watering. Everything tastes so amazing, your tastebuds will explode! I come to this restaurant very often, it is always a supberb experience. And it's in such a beautiful old Victorian setting, the combination of Asian food and art in an old Victorian home is lovely. Could not ask for more!
