Located across from Roy Thomson Hall, this Indian restaurant is situated in Toronto's financial and Entertainment districts. Perfect for a buffet lunch or pre-theatre dining, Kama serves up authentic dishes in a pleasant environment under the watchful eye of Kama, the Indian Goddess of Love. For those who prefer a la carte to buffet (Lunch: CAD10.95 Mon-Fri, CAD11.95 Sat-Sun. Dinner: CAD16.95 Mon-Thu, CAD18.95 Fri-Sun), the menu is extensive. Dishes include fiery-hot lamb or beef vindaloo and the somewhat more sedate chicken korma Kashmiri, served in an almond sauce with dried fruit.

Great Choice For A Unique Experience

The ambience and decor was an eye catcher. It really added to the experience of dining. Staff was great considering I've seen some reviews saying bad comments. They must have read them! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other diners.

Great Setting For Dining!

This is probably one of the best designed indian restaurants in Toronto. Hats off to the designer. Great location on king st. The owner was very helpful and respectful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Can't wait to go back

This place has the most delicious Indian food in Toronto. It has a wide variety of selection. I tried a little bit of everything. Amazing food !!!. The service was great and waiters were very friendly. Excellent environment. Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended place

Amazing Indian Food !!!!

The food is outstandingly delicious, fresh, and hot. Excellent variety of food The service is excellent with the waiters filling glasses regularly. The ambiance is amazing. Overall a highly recommended place.

Pathetic

the place is very dark and the seating is scattered. I hosted a party for 15-20 guests twice and not once could the staff arrange for a seating where we all to even see each other. Very crowded. All my friends joked that one trip from the table to the buffet serving area will help digest all they have eaten.Food is pathetic and service is the worst. PLEASE NEVER GO THERE

Never again!

1. I saw a mouse run out of the restaurant! 2. I saw a roach on the wall! 3. The food didn't taste fresh. 4. The washrooms need to be cleaned and renovated.

I love Indian Food and have gone to a number of restaurant on King and Queen Street that had either Good or Excellent food/service. With Kama, I found the floor beside the buffet sticky and the rice, on 2 occasions had someone elses hair. I'll never go back

Very tasty

I went for lunch on a weekday. There was a good variety, food was very tasty and fresh. Compares favourably with Bombay Palace and Dhaba. Good variety of deserts too.

decide u want food or just ambience

- No fresh vegetables or chicken used - Food smells of frozen chicken / tomato puree - Poor airconditioning - Found pieces of beef in chicken ! - Service was ok

Disappointing !

I was misled by other reviews and went to this place. I would never go to KAMA again. The food is very ordinary and if you are a vegetarian, dont even think abt going to this place. The buffet with taxes comes up to 30$ per plate which is an awful amount of money. Other places like Indian flavour and Banjara offer exceptional food for just 10 to 12$/plate.
