Not Just Noodles, Toronto

Food is generous portions of authentic chinese specialities at every day prices. Many of the patrons eat here daily, rather than cooking at home Highly recommend the Shanghai Noodles, all the noodle soups, the e-fu noodles, the ma-po tofu, the sweet and sour pork, the general tsao's chicken, the black pepper beef, the tofu & black mushrooms. Not at all fancy -- but great food for under $8 a person, it's a place that creates regulars.

Seriously, this place rocks. All I have to say is "General Tao's Chicken". Come on, how can you not love chicken named after General Tao?

When 2 of us went there, we ordered a meal to share...what a surprise... huge pieces of chicken one meal for the 2 of us cost about $3 each, and we had enough for another meal!

wow i have never had such good bubble tea in my life! i like very far away, but i make the jurney every week. they also have great house pa t....something. strange name, but it tastes great. i didnt like the look of the place, but the food makes up for it. the service wasnt the greatest, come to think of it, it was below average. but thats fine...just dont tip the person unless they deserve it. but all in all, the taste of the food, the freshness, and the price make it worth while. i would recomend you try it, if only the bubble tea! *tip* a nicer setting can be found at congee queen, but the price is more, the servers do not speak good english and are not helpful when u ask for oppinions on what to get, they expect a huge tip and are rude when they dont get it and food does not taste as good.

I think this dish is excellent, I wish I lived close by.
