Not Just Noodles, Toronto

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I fell in love with it the first time I bought Beef in Black Bean Sauce and I always keep coming back for more everytime I crave for something Asian. I'm Asian so when I want to eat a meal with rice when I'm outside always, I go to Asian restaurants. They don't speak English that well but they are very friendly and the food is just excellent. And it's cheap! The serving portions are just huge sometimes I can't eat them all.. Definitely worth it. This has become one of my favourite Chinese restaurants. It's small but incredible...

Personally, I think their name is great. Because I've tried almost all of their noodles and they're exceptionally lack-luster. Regardless, their fried rice is probably the best I've had since my great grandmother's. Definitely a place to check out. Although I've had a plethora of problems from one of their servers, and it's always her that serves me and my friends. She actually demands more tip and for us to get out as soon as we're done.

Affordable price, quick service, great for take-out but give their dining room a pass. Reliable, hardy, Chinese food. Certainly won't get any awards from Health Canada regarding sugar and fat, but for a treat, it's certainly a great addition to our movie nights.

We arrived around 7 pm or so, the ambiance of the small area when you walk in was great, didn't feel forced or trendy at all. We were offered menus as soon as we got in, service was excellent and very friendly! My boyfriend had been telling me about this place earlier, so when we passed by I couldn't help but want to give it a try! We ordered some excellent lychee bubble teas, shrimp pad thai and shrimp egg drop sauce on rice. I doubt we sat for any more than 10 minutes. The atmosphere was light and friendly, you could tell many of the patrons coming in were regulars. It is really difficult to find such a great chinese/thai/etc restaurant these days that isn't over the top and the food isn't up to par, but this little place rivals them all in my opinion. I will definitely go back, if JUST for a yummy bubble tea, and I know my boyfriend is a repeat customer! Our dishes were fantastic, totally hit the spot! I highly recommend Not Just Noodles, the selection, value and service is very much worth it!

Honestly, this really is our favourite place in the whole city. Unpretentious, cozy, amazing food. We love sitting upstairs right in the corner at the windows, so you can look out and watch the world go by at Yonge/Wellesley. I've been here at least two dozen times and have never had bad service. Sometimes their English isn't the best, but the servers have always been friendly. I have different favourite dishes every few months. Right now I'm loving their Chicken Vermicelli. I also adore their General Tao.

i do like the foods i aint gonna lie with that but the thing i dislike about the restaurants its a server who gave us an attitude and asking for more tips and she want us to kick us right after we ate..of course we need atleast 3 min to relax coz we are all full..yea but im saying foods are awesome but service its are not..

hmmmmmmmmmmm well,as for me. i love the food at just noodles. but unfortunately most of the staff except for two females and one male seem to be either very rude or have very limmited english skills. otherwise its great, i love the food! but they really need to work on getting better staff.

I've known about Not Just Noodles and been going there since the late 90's - - the great tasting food has NOT changed - I love their cooking - and prices are very reasonable - - the plates/dishes are huge and you deffinitly get your money's worth!! The restaurant itself is a little old but I think it adds to its very authentic cuisine - staff is friendly and service is fast - - it does get very busy there at times so just be patient - trust me its worth it! General Tao's Chicken AMAZING - the noodles are to die for - sea food is delicious! If you're looking for a good chinese restaurant give Not Just Noodles a try - you'll be back there guaranteed!!!!!

My favourite dish here is the Stir-Fry Chicken & Vegetables with Udon Noodles in a creamy curry sauce. Most of the items on the menu are under $10. However, I am always tempted to overeat and regret afterwards.

I love coming here and ordering the beef satay. The plate is piled HIGH with noodles, pieces of beef and vegetable. I can barely finish the plate and my belly is so full I can hardly move. I think they have pork or chicken satay as well. Many other dishes too of course. Eating the food as Toronto's Yonge street population walks up and down the sidewalk. I like to people watch through the window there.
