Canada Science and Technology Museum, Ottawa

I used to love this museum but I will stay away as long as they have the sex exhibit on.

Staff are very unfriendly and it's so dark in there.

I was at the Museum this summer for its Festival of Technology and realised what a great collection it had. I can see why it needs a new space (and hope this happens soon!) I know it is collection based but was impressed to see how much interactivity it has. I can see why it might be called a science centre, as it seems a hybrid. The demos seem a little old (have seen them in other centres) but the overall experience was good.

I read from everywhere it was the largest science centre in all of Canada. Being from Toronto, I was very eager to visit a place that can top our own Ontario Science Centre. Boy, was I wrong! This centre is situated in a windowless one-floor warehouse. The exhibits are dull and the kid's zone is very small. We finished our tour in a matter of 90 minutes.
