Wait a year -- or so.
The new Canadian War Museum is not yet ready for prime time. The vehicle collection is simply warehoused with scant (or no) explanation of what's on display; the war art is poorly displayed; the few aricraft in the collection are mounted so only their undersides are viewable; and the permanent galleries purporting to explain the world wars, the Korean conflict, etc. are incoherent. There's a small notice to visitors indicating some of the exhibits are unfinished. The note should apply to the whole experience. However, the museum was rushed to its VE Day opening so, with time now to work on the displays at a more leisurely pace, things may improve. But, right now, the building itself is more interesting than the exhibits.
