Canada's Four Corners, Ottawa Ontario, Canada

This two-and-a-half storey handicaft store has been in business for over 40 years at the same location -- 93 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Canada. It specializes in the best Canadian handicafts that can be found, with original works of Native as well as non-Native peoples. Its stock is eclectic, to say the least, ranging from prints and original art to greeting cards and CDs, all designed and produced in Canada.
Its logo, the 11-point maple leaf, was designed for the store and used roughly 18 months before the Canadian Parliament adopted its own 11-point maple leaf as Canada's national flag. Once a month, the owner, Mr. Jack Cook, a voice teacher, presents Canadian artists in a musical program.
I have nothing but the highest praise for Canada's Four Corners, its friendly and knowledgeable staff and its owner, who is always present and graces each customer with his friendly smile and baritone voice.
