The funkiest of Ottawa's Asian restaurants, this colorful Chinatown eatery offers a fusion of Cantonese, Szechuan and Asian fare, along with creative lighting, modern art and a wild collection of art deco furnishings. Most days the restaurant caters to a large and varied crowd of casually dressed patrons, including families but things turn trendier on Thursday evenings with a DJ spinning everything from hip hop to jazz. The restaurant features a noodle bar and an eclectic selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. The bar is fully licensed.
After we saw the previous review and thought this is a good place to visit. So we made an effort to go there. What a disappointment! The food was terrible and there was no other people there but us. Where is the line the previous review was talking about? We went the weekday between 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. The price was expensive too. Not worth it!!
this restaurant is amazing. recommended by friends of ours that live in ottawa. although we had made reservations on a friday night for 7pm. the place was soo busy we didn't get to sit down until 8:25pm. we did not mind at all. the staff made us drinks at the bar and the place is soo cozy we felt like we were at a house party. the best part of the evening was the food. . . delicious. . . I HIGHLY recommend the dumplings. Fantastic. a must visit for out of towners who normally would head to the market like us.
