Blue Cactus Bar and Grill, Ottawa

The place is very popular due to its location and elegant appereance. However the food is terrible.I have visited this place 3 times in the last 4 years and last time I got sick. My friends like to go there for their bar, but now I refuse to go there for their food. Food is greasy, dry and tasteless Service: hosstes not smile and they are not flexible to changing tables. Servers were okay and friendly people in the bar. Some tables shake due to uneven floor, although piece of napkin solve the problem. I have tried different restaurant in the same location especially Mexican and Tex-Mex food and Blue Cactus is not even close in flavor and taste. It is sad that a nice restaurant have bad food. They should hire experience cheft in Mexican cousine or Tex-Mex. Or have food control quality. I would not recomend this place to none who likes food, you will be wasting your money. Drinks are okay.
